Project One 

For this project, we were given an object that is Badminton Racket. From this object, we have to plan a musical performance by using the racket as the main character of the play. 

We have quite a few ideas on making this racket as a main thing which is, making it as a puppet but its kinda hard since we are allowed to use just one object as a "helper" I suppose. 

Our group name is G-Strings Racquet. Obviously it has nothing to do with the real g-strings, its just a name *winks*

As for this project, we as a group had to come up with new ideas and uses of this badminton racket. This requires our thinking skills and also our capabilities of thinking something out of the box. 

This project also requires good skills on technology as we chose to do a mash up of songs for the performance. This is a wonderful experience which I learned on how to edit songs and other things related to this project. 

Idea Journal One : Monster 

In this assignment, I had to imagine myself as a villain or a monster. Basically I had to explain about myself, characteristics, why I changed into this, what is my interest that made me choose this monster and stuff. 

For this particular assignment, I had to do alot of creative thinking as I had to be creative to create a monster that represents myself. I had to describe myself very well in this task and also why I chose it to be the monster side of me. 

Also for this assignment, I have to really understand myself and not depend on other people on how they see me. I have to imagine that I am someone else and I have to be scared to look at myself when I change into that monster 

Idea Journal Two : Monster Hideout

 For this particular assignment, I have to come out with a hideout for my monster. It is a continuation from the IDJ One which is creating the monster itself. 

A lot of creative thinking needed for this idea journals as it requires our creative levels on creating something or being innovative by improving something that already existed and making it more interesting and more likely to suit my monster.

I also did a lot of research on my type on monster and where it is likely to stay and where is the suitable place for me to build a hideout for my hideous monster.

Idea Journal Three : Best Friend's Monster

It is the continuation from IDJ Two which is the hideout. But this IDJ is quite different as I need to plan an event for my bestfriend (which is also a monster that we chose in class). 

For this task, we gave options to choose on. So, I chose the birthday party for my monster best friend's event. I made it so close to my friend's monster's characteristics.

For this assignment, I did a lot of research on how to make an amazing birthday party for a certain theme. I also did a lot of photo searching as it is used for my journal to make it better and helps the lecturer to imagine it better. 

I had to also do a lot of thinking as creating an event is boring with just the same stuff like others did. I put a lot of extraordinary stuffs such as foods in this birthday party event to make it extra fun for my friend's monster. 

The Final Project 

For this last project, we are given a product and we have to be creative on selling it and making a new packaging for it. In a group of 5, we are asked to do these things. This project is divided into two parts

Part A : Individual work ( we are given the object and we had to give it a new name, a logo, a new caption or tagline and a new packaging with a mock up)

Part B : Group work (based on part A, the lecturer chose the best packaging and then we as a group had to make a 1 minute video advertisement, an A3 sized poster, and a 5 minute presentation for us to really sell the product)

As a group, we had to do a lot of plannings to make this project successful. We also had to think creatively to decorate our booth for the presentation and also for the advertisement video. 

Because it is a group work, we really had to pull things together and make this work as a team. We came up with ideas, plans, and structure on how we want things to be. Although there are ups and downs when working in a team, we made it through.
