In-Class Exercise
For the first business class tutorial, we had to form groups and create an organization chart of our own business. We have chosen to do a tissue-roll business. Two of our group members are to represent our group to explain about this organization chart in class.
For this assignment, all of us have learnt the organization chart. We know how it looks like and how it works. In future, we can do this organization without facing any problems as we have been briefed about on this matter. 
This assignment lets us to communicate with each other. It creates more self confidence in talking to a large group and getting them to notice that you can contribute a lot to a specific project. This also helps everyone to voice out their opinion and ideas to the group. 
From this assignment, we had to do our research on how an organization chart works and what are the roles that are needed in an organization chart. From that, we have to make our own organization chart to be presented in class.
For this exercise, we had to form a group to act in class. Mr Joe will brief us on what our word means and what it represents, then we have to come out with a story plot. We are given the word attitude. Therefore we have come out with an amazing story about a teacher and a group of students.
From this tutorial, we know that discipline and attitude are very important in an individual. You need to have both in order to succeed in your life as well as in the future. Attitude and discipline plays an important role whether people will respect you or they will not entertain you.
The communication skills between each other are very important. The leader tells us the story plot and we have to make it interesting so that it will not bore the people that are watching. In a group, you can voice out your ideas and also your criticism if you feel that something is not right.
Business Assignment #1
For this assignment, we have to be in a group of five and plan on starting our own business. We have to decide on what and where to sell. We have to come out with our own pricing of the chosen thing to sell and also a financial plan. Besides than that, we have to create our own management plan to manage the business and keep the business stable.
We have chosen to sell organic healthy food.

From this presentation project, we have learnt on how to create a business and what are needed in order to start your own business company. The financial and management plan are very crucial in order to have a successful business.
We have to think of where are the most suitable location for us to sell our product. This is very important as when we have stabilized our business, people know where to get our food from. Besides than that, we need to a have a list of targeted customers for our product. This comes in when you are working in a group. We communicate to each other in order to get the good final product. We discuss together on what to start off with and divided the job equally among us.
Business Assignment #2
The second project of our Business subject is a charity drive. We have to set up a business and run it for a week to reach a target pf RM2500. Based on this charity drive, we have to produce a full report on our business, business receipt as well as reflection videos.
The project goes by stage. It is fully guided by our lecturer, Mr Chang Jau Ho. He taught us on doing accounting report, how to write receipts for the clients, how to choose a business to start with, how to get sponsorship and many more.
For my group, we have chosen to do Food & Beverage as our business. We needed to take the Typhoid Vaccine Injection right before we may start doing the business. This is to ensure that we are going to make our own, to be sell to the customers are clean and safe.
The profit that we have earned, we need to donate the total amount to the charity organization that we have chose. My group has chosen the World Vision Organization.
We sell three types of food, which is Nasi Lemak, Tuna Wraps and Tuna Buns.
For this project, the discipline level of all of us has to increase. This is because we need to reach our target of the business profit. As for that, we had to start our business early and we had to be at our booth on time. Discipline are very crucial in order to reach our goals.
Throughout this project, we been through a lot of hard times to get customers and to gain profit. This is where the critical thinking comes in. We approach our customers instead of waiting for them to come to our booth, and we have the initiative to go outside of campus and sell our food in other local universities. This project has boost up our communication skills because we learned on how to approach people and trying to convince them to either buy our food or donate for the organization that we have chosen.
